Integrations
Assemblified plugs into three external surfaces so the data you build inside the app — BOMs, executions, virtual materials, pre-assembled stock — flows out to the systems that act on it.
- Logistified — push real component demand into a Shopify-native warehouse and forecasting app, including a one-shot backfill of historical orders.
- Alertified — fire low-stock notifications across Shopify variants and Assemblified-only entities (virtual materials, BOM and sub-assembly pre-assembled pools).
- Shopify admin extensions — five native surfaces inside the Shopify admin (order blocks, packing-slip print action, product-list actions) so your team rarely has to leave Shopify to act on BOM data.
At a glance
Section titled “At a glance”Where to enable them
Section titled “Where to enable them”Every third-party connection lives in one place: Settings → Integrations. Open it once you’ve installed the partner app from the Shopify App Store; the integration card surfaces a Connect button only when the partner side is reachable.
Shopify extensions don’t need a toggle — they’re installed as part of the Assemblified app and surface automatically inside the Shopify admin. The two order-detail blocks are the exception: a one-time setup step adds them to your order page layout (see the Shopify extensions page).
Plan and subscription gating
Section titled “Plan and subscription gating”| Integration | What you need |
|---|---|
| Logistified | The Logistified app installed on the same shop. The integration’s gating follows your Logistified subscription. |
| Alertified | The Alertified app installed and an active Enhanced plan on the Alertified side. Free-tier Alertified shows a blocker banner inside Assemblified’s settings. |
| Shopify extensions | None — installed with Assemblified. Order-detail blocks require a one-time layout edit in the Shopify admin. |
How the data flows
Section titled “How the data flows”Outbound (Assemblified → partner): driven by BOM executionsBOM executionThe pipeline that runs when a Shopify order containing a BOM-bound variant is created, edited, cancelled, or refunded. Webhook → queue → DO handler → Shopify inventory adjustment, plus pre-assembled drawdown, sub-assembly recursion, and dynamic adjustment cascade. Every run writes one execution log row. Read more → and inventory changes inside Assemblified. Messages are queued so a slow partner never blocks the merchant-facing app.
Inbound (partner → Assemblified): supported today for Logistified — purchase-order fulfillments, stock transfers, and stock takes flow back into raw-material inventory in the active session’s BOMBill of MaterialsA bill of materials tells Assemblified how to build one unit of a finished good. When a customer orders the finished-good variant, Assemblified deducts the right component quantities from inventory automatically. Read more → -aware store.
