Billing

Settings → Billing is headed Billing & Subscription. It shows what you are on and what the other plans include.

  • Current plan
  • Subscription details
  • Plan features
  • The three plans
  • Prices
  • Changing plan
  • When a plan-gated control is switched off
  • Data security

A status badge sits at the top right of the first card:

BadgeMeaning
TrialSubscribed, still inside the free trial
ActiveSubscribed and billing normally
CancelledThe subscription has been cancelled
ExpiredThe subscription has lapsed
FreeNo active subscription was found

With a subscription, the card names the plan and the price Shopify is charging for it, and during a trial adds a Trial days remaining badge. A development or test charge is flagged with This is a test subscription.

Below it: when the subscription started, when a trial ends, and the subscription’s own reference number. That reference is what support will ask for if a charge needs chasing.

The bullets of the plan you are actually on. If your subscription carries a plan name Assemblified does not recognise, this card is left out rather than showing the wrong list.

Every plan is listed with its monthly price, the yearly equivalent and the saving that comes with paying yearly. Your own plan is marked Current Plan.

The bill of materials core:

  • Bill of Materials lifecycle management
  • Bundles to base products adjustments
  • Sub-assemblies for complex compositions
  • Material requirements and changes overview
  • Automated inventory adjustments
  • Automated refund and cancellation handling
  • Point of Sale and multi-location support
  • Material forecasting with Logistified

Everything above, plus production:

  • Pre-assemble bills and assembly bills
  • Assemble flows for preproduction
  • Auto-generate todos from orders
  • Automated material pick lists for orders
  • Disassemble preproduced goods
  • Order-linked production workflows
  • Raw material requirements per order
  • Kit assembly by material allocation

Enhanced is also what unlocks the additional costs catalogue, metafield definitions and the nightly bill-version snapshot.

Everything in Enhanced, plus multi-store:

  • Multi-store groups with one shared stock picture
  • Shared-SKU index across your stores
  • Hourly cross-store stock checks
  • Stock settling: main store, lowest count, or worksheet
  • Corrections log with full evidence
  • Per-store location mapping
  • Priority support

Elevate is needed by the store that creates a group. A partner store joining an existing group does not need it.

Prices are published in one place, so they cannot go stale here.

Manage Plan on any of the three cards opens Shopify’s pricing-plans screen for Assemblified in a new tab. Choose there, approve the charge, and come back — the app picks the new plan up on its own.

A feature your plan does not include is never hidden and never left looking clickable. The control is visibly disabled, it names the plan it needs, and it offers exactly one way to upgrade. What you already created on a higher plan stays visible and keeps working where it is read-only — existing cost factors, for example, keep pricing your bills even when you can no longer edit them.

The last card states two things about how your data is handled: it travels over TLS and is stored encrypted, and your bills of materials are checked continuously so a broken reference is caught before it reaches an order.
